About First State Death Doulas

About Me (Professional + Poetic + Spiritual)

My journey to becoming a 'Death Doula' began in my formative years. As a sophomore at Ursuline Academy High School, I volunteered alongside an exceptional Hospice nurse, and it was there that I recognized the profound significance of supporting individuals at the end of their lives. I have had the privilege of walking alongside four individuals as they approached the final chapters of their lives. Now, I am committed to transforming this sacred experience into a lifelong career, ensuring that I am present for others as they navigate the writing of their own final chapter.I support individuals and families through life’s final transitions with a blend of holistic grounding and spiritual clarity. My background in counseling, psychology, and human services has shaped my ability to bring calm structure, clear communication, and steady guidance to moments that require both compassion and precision.

Alongside my professional training, I carry a deep spiritual connection to the Divine Source and my spirit team — a gift that awakened in 2021 and has continued to grow through dedicated spiritual channeling practice. This connection allows me to hold space not only for the emotional and practical needs of end‑of‑life care, but also for the unseen, the intuitive, and the sacred. In my work as a Death Doula, I integrate: Non-Clinical experience in counseling, conflict resolution, and supportive care A strong foundation in psychology and human behavior Spiritual insight, intuitive channeling, and connection with the Divine-A calm, grounded presence during life’s most vulnerable moments.

We were profoundly grateful for the assistance from First State Death Doulas. Their empathy and guidance not only comforted us but also made the entire process more manageable during a trying time.
